Symrise has reported good sales growth in local currencies the first half of 2008 driven by flavours and emerging markets, although fragrance growth was hit by the drop-off in consumer spending on luxury goods.
Novozymes has reported sales of DKK435m (€58.35m) for food enzymes
in Q3 2007, during which it launched its long-awaited
acrylamide-reducing enzyme Acrylaway.
Givaudan's full year results for 2006 indicate that the flavour and
fragrance giant is profiting from the streamlining of its commodity
ingredient operations.
